#352 - Work From Home

I ain't worried 'bout nothin'

I ain't wearin' na-nada

I'm sittin' pretty impatient

But I know you gotta put in them hours

I'mma make it harder

I'm sending pic after picture

I'mma get you fired

I know you're always on the night shift

But I can't stand these nights alone

And I don't need no explanation

'Cause, baby, you're the boss at home

#351 - Courage To Change

World, I want to leave you better

I want my life to matter

I am afraid I have no purpose here

I watch the news on TV

Abandon myself daily

I am afraid to let you see the real me

Rain it falls, rain it falls

Pouring on me

And the rain it falls, rain it falls

Sowing the seeds of love and hope, love and hope

We don't have to stay stuck in the weeds

Have I the courage to change?

Have I the courage to change?

Have I the courage to change today? (Ooh)

#350 - Your mirror

I've got to stand up for myself
This society don't care about nobody else
I've got to be strong
Even if I know that this feeling is wrong
I've got to not care
Even if I know that this world is meant to share

Wait a minute. This is wrong
Even the birds still sing their faithful song
And your beauty lies within you
Look in the mirror baby
Look in the mirror baby

What you gonna do when your friends have gone away
And deserted you
You'll have to be strong
24 hours can seem so long
You're taught to not care
And then not realise this world is meant to share

We've got to stand up for ourselves
Even if a leader so cold wants to glory himself
We've got to be strong
Even if our reasons seem wrong
We've got to not care
Even if the world that we know may not even be here

Hold It! It's wrong
Even the birds still sing their faithful song
And your beauty lies within you
Look in the mirror baby

Linda, louca e mimada

Sabem do poder que têm

E não têm medo de usá-lo

Ela só quer viajar, ela só quer viajar

Da night pra paria, da praia pra casa

Da casa pro lar, no drop alucinante

Constante da onda eterna

Quem reina é ela no reino do mar

Ela só quer viajar, ela só quer viajar

Ela só quer viajar daqui pra qualquer lugar

#346 - Bad habits

My bad habits lead to late nights, endin' alone
Conversations with a stranger I barely know
Swearin' this will be the last, but it probably won't
I got nothin' left to lose, or use, or do
My bad habits lead to wide eyes, stare into space
And I know I'll lose control of the things that I say
Yeah, I was lookin' for a way out, now, I can't escape
Nothin' happens aftеr two, it's true, it's true
My bad habits lead to you

When did we all stop believing in magic?
Why did we put all our hopes in a box in the attic?

I'm the long shot
I'm the Hail Mary
Why can't it be me?

They told me I was out there, tried to knock me down
Took those sticks and stones, showed 'em I could build a house
They tell me that I'm crazy, but I'll never let 'em change me
'Til they cover me in daisies, daisies, daisies

#341 - You are the one

I always put parts of inspirational song lyrics right after my photos. But today, I'm going to write a personal note.

This song was part of my life, and, because it was lively, I listened to it a lot while skating, loose and happy, feeling the sun on my face and the wind in my hair.... this post today has the flavor of nostalgia and happiness.

If I can't have you right now, I'll wait dear

Said woman take it slow and things will be just fine
You and I'll just use a little patience
Said sugar take the time 'cause the lights are shining bright

I’m alive in here, so alive in here, pulling down a little peace
I’m open wide in here, slow to rise in here, saving grace and killing me
You say this only makes me incomplete
I’m canceled out and rendered obsolete
Tell the mad chameleon he’s not welcome anymore
I know what I’m looking for

Somewhere close, somewhere safe
Somewhere I know, I know I’ll never live in chains
The one is now aware
So stay away from me, I’m just too young to care

'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony, this life
Trying to make ends meet, you're a slave to money then you die

No change, I can change, I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mold, I am here in my mold
But I'm a million different people from one day to the next
I can't change my mold, no, no, no, no, no

#329 - Because I'mma doggy

I might be waggy but I wanna play
I'm your best friend, you can get awake
I deserve a treat cuz I'm a fluffy babe
I got hair, shakin' the air, doggy by the day

Because I'm yappy
Bark along if you feel like your master loves you
Because I'm waggy
Wag along if you feel like your tail is chasing you
Because I'm floppy
Howl along if you want a cuddle from me to you
Because I'mma doggy
Dog around if you think you're my best friend too
